A major bank in Ukraine has been targeted via the Swift banking system. This is the fifth public disclosure, and the question most people must be asking is, how could this happen again. There is some debate on how the attacks are happening, and if the weak link is at the banks or within the Swift system. Although Swift is pointing the finger at the banks, it must be concerned that sooner or later a hacker might find a way into the Swift system.
