Lord Hague's speech raises interesting and important questions, that are inherent in where the world is headed as more and more devices become connected. Does this mean that our doctors will know what we have been eating, or than an insurance company might cancel a policy because it is obvious we are drinking too much? This is all the more important given the daily breaches that seem to occur. Either way, we should embrace what a connected world has to offer, and continue to educate ourselves and take personal responsibility for how we interact with the internet.
Lord Hague says there is no "absolute right for privacy" in our modern digital lives while encouraging partnerships between government and business.
