One can safely say that there is no lack of data to solve almost any problem in the world today. The real challenge is sorting insightful data from noise, and transforming it into intelligence. This is not easy and there is still a lot of work to be done.

That includes metadata, a rich unencrypted layer in our expanding profiles – who we talk to, where and how often, where we spend time and with whom, and what our interests are.
